CoCo and Cat never met. But they are instrumental in the creation of this Leather Goods and Mercantile Store.

Born and raised in Sag Harbor, NY, owner Kelly Bailey met her first best friend at the age of 4 - CoCo - a little Shetland pony, no bigger than 8 hands tall. This friendship was the start of the biggest influence in Kelly’s life: horses. Today, Cat – no smaller than 18 hands tall – continues the dream and legacy.

It was this journey with them, and all the others in between, that brought Kelly here, opening CoCo & Cat.

Before CoCo & Cat opened their doors, Brennan’s Bit and Bridle was in residence, opened by Diana Brennan. Many of us grew up with Brennan’s, being surrounded by beautiful hand-crafted leather goods and horse sundries. Today, CoCo & Cat honors that tradition, curating beautiful leather goods and for both men and women, (…ok….mostly women….and a bit for horses and ponies) as well as showcasing artisan goods and mercantile from around the world.

CoCo & Cat proudly features local artisans, including: Hampton Alchemist, Southampton Soap Co., Light Me Up Candles, 1001 Creations and B&B Wood Works. These artisans have passion not only their craft, but also for the beautiful surroundings we all get to enjoy here in the Hamptons!

And last, certainly not least, CoCo & Cat provides shoe and leather repair.
